Dynamo Windrad
The leisure sports club Dynamo Windrad offers you the possibility to participate in many different teams. They offer soccer, volleyball, badminton, ping-pong, self-defence, gymnastics, free running, hockey and sports for children. The cut fee for one year in one team is 90€. If you want to participate in more than one offer you have to pay 140€. The fee for your whole family is 180€.

Bücherwurm
Once a week children under 12 years can borrow books or listen to them being read aloud for free in the Bürgertreffpunkt Kinderbücher. There are books in German, Polish, Turkish and Russian language. You can come every Thursday from 3pm to 5pm.
Zirkutopia
The association offers circus projects for teenagers between 10 and 18 years to participate in a circus at different locations throughout the city. For example, at the “Wilden Warte” there is a program called “Salto Integrale” for children and teenagers age 9 to 14. All children, especially refugees or the disabled, are welcome.

Mr. Wilson
In the Kesselschmiede in Rothenditmold you can find the skateboard club “Mr. Wilson”. For a monthly membership fee of 15€ you can use the skate hall. Friday, Saturday and Sunday the entrance fee for only a day is 5€, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday it's free.

Girls Refuge Kassel e.V.(Mädchenhaus Kassel e.V.)
A Meeting Point for girls between 6 and 19 years. Here you can do your homework, listen to music, chat and play games. There are also film presentations, cooking, self-defence and parties.
Learning Farm for Nature and History (Lernhof Natur und Geschichte)
There are different offers for adults as well as children. You can go on a guided tour with an explanation of the herbs and flowers, exchange herbs, paint, wattle, collect mushrooms and bake bread. You can profit from cut entrance fees and some of the events will only ask for a donation. Additionally, there are holiday programs.
Tuesday and Thursday from 3pm to 5 pm open afternoon
The Learning Farm is an offer of Diakonisches Werk Region Kassel.
Zoo for Small Animals (Kleintierzoo am Rammelsberg)
Here you can see about 200 animals, for example donkeys, pigs, lamas, parrots, storks and monkeys. The zoo on the Rammelsberg is located on the side of the Wilhelmshöher Allee. After the ICE-Station Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe turn right into the Kunoldstraße. From there the zoo is signposted.
The entrance is free.

In February the zoo closes at 5 pm, in November at 4 pm. In December, January and February the zoo is closed.
A Farm for Children (Kinderbauernhof)
The compound of the farm is between the river Fulda and the river Ahna in the neighbourhood Wesertor. On the 4500 m2 big open space there is a meadow orchard, a vegetable garden and sheep, pigs, rabbits and bees. The entrance is at the old tanner houses, behind the Ahnabrücke at the Schützenstraße 2. All people who want to work, garden, take care of animals or build are welcome. Here you can play, cook and eat together, climb and tinker. At the end of the week on Friday, there is a bonfire. Your visit is for free and you won’t need to register before coming.
Opening hours:
Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 3pm to 6pm: children older than 6 years.
Wednesday from 3pm to 6pm: family da, children under 6 years in company of an adult.

A special map which shows more than 600 interesting locations for children and teenagers. Aside from online access, you can also buy a printed version for 3€ at the town hall, in bookshops and in “Kassel Marketing” locations.
Jumpers Helleböhn
There are different offers for children and teenagers. For example, there is to possibility to play jugger. The participation on the trainings is for free. On the “freaky Friday” girls between 8 and 14 years can meet to talk, bake, cook, play or go on trips. In the jumpers workshop, boys and girls can learn to work with tools.
